About Ali Memon
Thank you for visiting my website.
I’m a Barrister and Solicitor with the Law Society of Ontario, and I’m passionate about providing thoughtful and thorough advice on even the most complex and time-sensitive matters. My top priority is always your satisfaction, and I take pride in being a zealous advocate for my clients.
With over five years of experience as a government official, I’ve had the privilege of working in a department responsible for implementing immigration programs and regulating the labour market at the federal level. This role deepened my understanding of how to navigate intricate systems to achieve meaningful results.
Before this, I worked as a human rights lawyer and researcher with the Committee for the Welfare of Prisoners in Karachi, Pakistan—a truly humbling and impactful experience that shaped my perspective on justice and advocacy.
Academically, I’ve pursued my passion for law through a degree and a Postgraduate Diploma from the University of London in the UK, followed by a Master of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University. Each step has enriched my journey and equipped me to better serve my clients.
Outside of my professional life, I’m a proud family man. I’ve been happily married to my wonderful spouse, Zainab, for over 10 years, and together, we’re raising our four amazing children. My family is my greatest source of joy and inspiration, reminding me daily of the importance of community and compassion.
When it comes to my clients, I believe in keeping things simple and direct. No middlemen, no clerks, no receptionists—just you and me. If you need assistance, I encourage you to call me directly. I’m here to listen, guide, and advocate for you every step of the way.
Let’s connect—I look forward to working with you!
